Reptile Warrior

3D character based on 2D concept from Tan Zhi Weng:

As part of an assignment, we were given 7 weeks to find a 2D character concept and recreate it as closely as we could in 3D. Tan Zhi Weng was kind enough to give me permission to use their "Reptile Brigand" piece. During this project, I wanted to increase my skills and experience in ZBrush, so I made the character from blockout phase to high poly sculpt all in ZBrush. I poly modelled the low poly versions of the accessories, before sending them back to ZBrush to make a high poly version with details to bake on. I enjoyed making this character more than I thought I would, and am quite pleased how it turned out.
